Cherie Lunghi is a British actress born on 4th April 1952. She was enrolled at the Arts Educational Trust School in Hyde Park, at the age of 11. This was a stage school attended by fellow pupils, Nigel Havers, Jenny Agutter and
Jane Seymour. Cherie has worked alongside people such as Dame Judy Dench and Sir Ian McKellen when she was at the Royal Shakespeare Company at the age of 24. Her best known film role was as Guinevere in the 1981 film Excalibur.
Cherie is also famous for appearing in a long-running advertising campaign on British television for Kenco coffee in the 1990s. She has also appeared in the music video for Level 42’s song "Something About You" where she played the band members' mutual love interest.
