Lisa Riley, born 5 August 1976, is a British actress best known for playing the role of Mandy Dingle in the ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale.

Lisa Riley trained at the Oldham Theatre Workshop from the age of nine, and was signed by an agent three years later. After some early roles including extra work on Coronation Street and an appearance in Butterfly kiss which was directed by Michael Winterbottom, her first breakthrough role in UK television was playing Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale over a period of six and a half years.
In 1996, she won the National Television Awards for Most popular newcomer for her work in Emmerdale.
In 1997 Lisa took over from Jeremy Beadle as the presenter of popular home video clip show, You’ve Been Framed. As viewing figures for the show rocketed, Lisa remained host until 2002 having presented over 100 episodes of the programme.
Lisa continues to appear on screen and stage, including performing opposite Abi Titmuss in a play about pole dancing called The Naked Truth in 2009. Dance training that may help bring some passion to her performances in the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor.
