Ian Waite

Ian Waite is a professional Latin-American dancer, who started dancing at age 10 and is a former European Youth Latin American Champion. Since 2004 his dance partner has been Camilla Dallerup. He has 12 competition wins between 1998 and 2001. Camilla and Ian were placed 2nd for Latin American at the 2005 UK Closed Championships. Ian turned professional in 1997 and partnered up with the former Latin American world champion, Inga Haas. Nine months after that they were runner up in the British Professional Rising Stars.

Later Ian moved to Holland to further his dance career. He trained with the renowned choreographer and dance coach, Ruud Vermay. This was when he formed a four year partnership with Natalia Panina, with whom he won the Dutch Championship. They were in the finals of both the World Showdance Championship and the European Professional Latin American Championship.

Ian later partnered with the Belgian professional dancer, Daisy Croes.

Ian was in Holland for five years and after which he returned to his home town of Reading.
