The Strictly Come Dancing host legendary Bruce Forsyth adds glamour and humour to the series. Will he carry on the high performance of previous series.
Bruce Forsyth, CBEBruce Forsyth, CBE (born on 22 February 1928) is a British showman, entertainer and gameshow host. He achieved his celebrity status on the show ‘Sunday Night at the London Palladium’. More recently he has presented the television shows ‘The Generation Game’, ‘Play Your Cards Right’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Bruce has also worked in the United States, in 1986, hosting a game show on ABC, known as Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak. He has hosted several television shows since the 1960s which include comedy and light entertainment shows. Tess Daly Tess Daly (born on 27 April 1971) is a television presenter, born in Stockport, England, and is married to the presenter Vernon Kay. Tess grew up in Birch Vale, near New Mills, Derbyshire. Tess has appeared in two Duran Duran videos in 1990. She has also appeared in the video for 'The Beloved' titled 'Sweet Harmony' in 1992. Tess’s first television break through was in 1999 when she hosted the 'Find Me A Model' competition on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast. After that she has presented shows including ‘Singled Out’, ‘Smash Hits TV’, ‘SMTV Live’, ‘Back To Reality’, and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. She has been married to TV presenter/Radio DJ Vernon Kay since September 2003. They has a girl, Phoebe Elizabeth (born on 17 October 2004). Tess and Vernon co-presented the second series of ‘Just the Two of Us’ on BBC One, in January 2007.
