The first couple to dance was Ali Bastian and partner Brian Fortuna. They danced the Foxtrot and scored 8 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 35. Len said, “I saw your nerves actually for the first time this evening. You stepped on Brian’s left toe, but I thought it was a very polished routine.” Craig said, “I had no feeling that you were nervous. It was an angel delight. It was very very nice, well done.” The couple to dance next was Natalie Cassidy and Vincent Simone. They danced the Samba and scored 6 + 7 + 8 + 5 = 26. Len said, “It was a bit like foot and mouth, he was looking at the mouth I was looking at the foot. Natalie it was all in hold, it was like a garden with no flowers.” Bruno said, “This was more Bournemouth than Brazil. It was one of your poorest performances.” Chris Hollins and Orla Jordan danced next. They danced the Viennese Waltz and scored 7 + 8 + 7 + 7 = 29. Alisha said, “I know you can pivot well, but I don’t need to see that much in one dance.” The couple to dance next was Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowe. They danced the American Smooth and scored 9 + 8 + 10 + 9 = 36. Len said, “I thought the whole number was absolutely gorgeously fantastic. Why did you do that stupid big lift? I was disappointed with that.” Alisha said, “I think every woman would have liked to be lifted like that. It was gentle it was understated, it was absolutely beautiful, it was a show stopper.” The couple to dance next was Laila Rouass and Anton Du Beke. They danced the Waltz and scored 6 + 8 + 7 + 8 = 29. Bruno said, “In spite of that mistake, it was beautiful.” Craig said, “I didn’t feel that you were entirely following Anton, you were a bit behind.” -SCDi |
