After the viewers’ votes were counted and added to the judges’ scores from Saturday, Healey and Boag were one of the couples in the bottom two. They had scored 70 with the judges on Saturday’s show after their two dances. That had put them bottom of the judges’ leader board.
The other couple in the bottom two was Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole. They had scored 72 points with the judges.
The two couples performed their higher-scoring routines in the dance-off and the judges then had to vote for the couple they wanted to save. Healey and Boag danced the Salsa for which they had previously scored 36. Snowdon and Cole danced the Waltz, where they had scored 39 from the judges on Saturday.
All four judges chose to put Snowdon and Cole through to the semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing.
