told the Mirror that George sent her flowers and texts before the first ‘live’ show last Saturday: “Prior to the show starting, George sent Lisa a ‘good luck’ text’. It was the first time they’d had any contact for some time. Lisa was pretty amazed but assumed that would be the last of it.
“Instead, after the show, George sent her another text, this one was along the lines of ‘Wow!’”
“Tomorrow Lisa and Brendan Cole are dancing the salsa and all eyes will be on them – including George’s.
“He has promised to send a bouquet to her dressing room and the talk backstage is he may make a surprise appearance in London in the coming weeks.
“Now that he’s single, gossip is spreading like wildfire that he wants to woo Lisa back.
“Obviously everyone is desperate for Lisa to stay in the competition – if only for a glimpse of George!”
George and Lisa dated on-and-off for several years after meeting making an advert for Martini in 2000. Lisa has been largely single since they split, saying she thinks men don’t think they’ll be able to “compete” with her famous ex, while George finished with girlfriend of a year Sarah Larson in May.
