In Week 9, it was Jodie Kidd and partner Ian Waite who danced first. They danced the Quickstep and scored 33 out of 40 from the judges. Next up were Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole who danced the Samba and they scored 30 from the judges. This put the couple in the seventh place on the leader board. This is unusual for Snowdon who is normally at the top of the leader board.
The third couple to dance was Christine Bleakley and Matthew Cutler. They danced the Waltz and got 34 from the judges. After that actress Cherie Lunghi and James Jordan danced the Cha cha cha and scored 32 from the judges.
The fifth couple to dance was rugby player Austin Healey and partner Erin Boag. They danced the aggressive Tango and scored 38 out of 40. Goodman and Toniolli gave them 10 points each. After this Rachel Steven and Vincent Simone danced the Rumba and they got 39 out of 40. All the judges gave them 10 apart from Revel Horwood who gave them 9.
Next up were John Sergeant and partner Kristina Rihanoff. They danced the American Smooth and scored 25 from the judges. Last to dance were Tom Chambers and partner Camilla Dallerup. They danced the Salsa and scored 35 from the judges.
Overall all the couples scored over 30 from the judges apart from Sergeant and Rihanoff who scored 25. This score is the best score that Sergeant has got so far in the competition.
